Sustainability
We recognise that the environment is fundamental to our business, our people, and our clients. We carefully manage the environmental impacts of our operations, meeting and where possible exceeding all legal and regulatory requirements. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint and continually improving our environmental performance through regular reviews and independent external audits.
Our Environmental Management System (EMS) aligns with ISO 14001, and we calculate our baseline carbon footprint in accordance with PAS guidance across Scopes 1, 2 and 3. Together, these provide an evidence-based framework supporting our journey towards becoming a net-zero business.
Our team considers its social responsibility as being an active and cooperative partnership; working in close collaboration with our clients, our staff, our suppliers, local communities and educational partners. Despite being small, we wish to state our intention on having a positive impact on people and support and promote inclusion and diversity in everything we do.
With a predominantly local supply chain, we choose our suppliers carefully in accordance with our sustainability commitments, policy and procedures, who conduct business in a fair and ethical manner consistent with industry best practice.
Nature Recovery
In 2024 the Royal Warrant Holders Association launched its Nature Recovery initiative, to ‘enhance nature’s capital and create significant improvements in biodiversity’.
Our own project is focused on protecting and enhancing our local Smooth newt (Lissotriton vulgaris) and bat populations in our green spaces. With the help from local experts, we will be developing a strategy to best achieve and record our progress from January 2026.
