Tree Labels

We provide a wide range of tree label options for botanical and educational identification.

For mature trees, we also supply the special tree label fixings which were developed at The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. These comprise a smooth hardened steel nail and washer together with a specially made conical phosphor bronze spring. They allow the tree to expand without damaging the tree or label and adjustable over time.

The most popular size is 75mmx100mm and available in laminate and aluminium.

Other fixing options are available including a soft aluminium nail which is sometimes preferred by arborists and foresters.

For young and smaller trees, it is good practice to use a nail alternative such as a tying method to hang the label and of a proportionate size such as our 75mmx50mm label or even a plaque, stem or post on newly planted trees.

We also provide numbered tree tags that require specific design elements or additional information. QR and other coding systems are now commonly used on hand held devices which link to tree management software.
